‘The Gentlemen of Scraper City’ is a generative animated short film. The story and score of the film are different each time it is played. The films are put together by a piece of software programmed for this purpose: The StoryMachine.

The rhythm of narration and amount of action varies a lot in different versions of the film. Some of the films are full of action, while others can be very slow.  When watched in a sequence, the different films make up episodic narratives resembling TV shows.
