We experience flashbacks of the past through different kinds of situations and details that are connected to each other. Often, facing something new brings memories from my past to the surface. This is why memories are crucial elements in my pictures, in which I travel through the layers of time and space.

‘Undoubtedly anywhere else’ is a photography series about experiences and encounters that I came upon during my journeys in different locations of the world. I consciously turned my camera away from tourist attractions and concentrated only on seeking my own personal view and how I perceive the world. That's why my pictures serve a higher importance as a way to study the surroundings from my personal point of view.
