The Apocalypse of John

For the thesis part of my graduation work, I researched the term 'scifi' and what it stands for in the film- and fashion industry. The production part is a futuristic women's wear collection. In my designs, I utilise the visual landscape of the scifi-movies, which I familiarised myself with while researching for the thesis. I was particularly inspired by the modern, post-apocalyptic scifi-movies such as Mad Max, Tank Girl, Blade Runner and Twelve Monkeys.

I have used synthetic materials favoured by futuristic designers of the sixties and styrofoam to create 3D-shapes. I have enlarged the pinstripe pattern appropriately in order to give it a fresh appearance.
