It's all rubbish, My darling

'It's all rubbish, My darling' is a clothing collection for women. Clothes have been created out of waste materials such as textile industry's leftovers, recycled wool and modern recycled materials. The ambitious collection speaks out as an experiment to make things differently.

As a designer, I find waste fascinating – matter once designed and produced to the world, but later ditched as useless. Waste is something worthless, incomplete and ugly. It's something to get rid of. The collection flirts with an invisible, but a distinct contradiction between classic ladylike-aesthetics and waste material. The ugliness and obnoxiousness of garbage meets the supreme beauty of Hitchcock's endangered blond heroines.

The secret of ugliness consists not in irregularity, but in being uninteresting
