Appearances and Disappearances

My work is a conceptual study of the void, of destruction and formation, of time and dust. In the animated photo series, I have studied an aging-process: what happens to an image through repetition and time? It's a process of dying, but also a process of regeneration. When form has dissolved, it can be reshaped into new things.

In a series of three drawings, I present the possibilities of what matter could formulate itself into. These figures are made of lifeless trivial objects, but together they take a new shape. In the written part of my work, I look into the artistic void: where the ideas and artworks come from. My focus is in the small meaningless particles and how they form a meaning together.
