In my final thesis I designed accessory company KAKSITVÅ’s visual identity by exploring label’s corporate identity. The visual identity will be launched at the same time as KAKSITVÅ´s spring/summer 2009 collection. The thesis focuses on company’s alternative marketing tools as well. KAKSITVÅ’s visual identity includes logo, marketing materials, web pages (www.kaksitva.com), web store and product-related materials such as neck tags and packaging materials.
Marjo Kuusinen and Piia Keto founded KAKSITVĂ… in 2005 as a small-scale experiment. Product demand exceeded expectations, and the designers decided to start full development of the brand.
KAKSITVÅ’s partner has always been the young designers shop HundPark in Helsinki. During the final thesis process KAKSITVÅ’s spring / summer 2009 collection was launched at the CPH Vision fashion fair in Copenhagen.
