Folding Chair

Aesthetic experiences are not only obtained from cultural spaces, but also from ordinary objects that we encounter in our daily lives.

I made a folding chair with wood material, as wood has been my inspiration since I came to Finland. A folding chair should be a functional and aesthetic object. Working with the limited movement of a folding chair mechanism has been a great challenge to me. This chair may seem ordinary, but its thoroughly planned simplicity provides an aesthetic experience.
