Rapid Diagnostics, Faster Prescription
Empowering doctors & patients in the diagnostic process

Being aware of the limitations in their communication of their company and realising the urge of staying on the edge of their field, Mobidiag (biotech company focusing on DNA analysis) decided to search for a new approach in the medical diagnostics area: “we (Mobidiag) want to enable doctors, physicians and patients to diagnose several diseases from one drop of direct blood. “
Interviews with experts and visits to their working environments provided precise input to the project and allowed us to focus on their real needs. Also the opportunities within the medical market had to be analysed as it is a tightly controlled area. Classical design processes such as sketches and prototypes were also used in order to better communicate during these meetings.
Despite all the professional personnel within the company, unexpected comments from experts led to the project being refocused several times from the primary project brief. Selecting and researching the project content has been an issue faced as well as overcoming technological challenges in order to create a product that is possible to implement.

The platform proposed allows the company to start biological research within realistic limits, together with recognition of the wishes of the customers and the experts.
