FloweRing



The products here are a set of modular floral arrangement system called FloweRing, which allow flexibility and encourage creative interactions between users and potted artificial flowers. The system was strategically designed to reflect and enhance Arti-Flora Corporation’s new strategy and brand image. Such flexibility has not been offered before in the industry.

This thesis is written in cooperation with Arti-Flora Corporation (AFC), high quality artificial flower manufacturer with no brand identity, whose current aims are to examine the possibilities of opening up new markets, reaching to end customers directly. The thesis is focused on the significance of strategic design in the change of corporate strategy, brand creation, and how the design of product, packaging, and corporate website can enhance the new strategy.
The working processes consisted of developing new corporate strategy through design strategy, designing of FloweRing system based on user study and understanding users’ tacit needs, and concept designing of flagship store and online store to enhance the new brand.
