Emotionally Durable Design comes to life in my thesis ‚ÄúSyd√§nk√§pyj√§‚ÄĚ ‚ÄĒ the design of the product portfolio of the 60th anniversary of the Common Responsibility Campaign. With my design, I aim to create emotionally durable relationships between the product and the end user, which over time will reduce unsustainable consuming.
The 2010 Common Responsibility Campaign and the product portfolio promote awareness and encourage us all to become everyday angels by helping those in need in Finland and in the disaster stricken Haiti. The product categories are inspired by food security which is the main theme of the jubilee year of the Campaign. In addition to the traditional charity products, the portfolio includes a digital product option.
