This project joins my background in painting, sculpture and installation with my interest in theatre and performance. I am interested in discovering how one abstract moment can be highlighted by narrative and concrete parameters. I moved to Finland specifically to focus on my awareness of environment.  Having grown up in Mexico and in the United States, I needed the experience of the North that Finland had to offer me: linguistic isolation, and drastic changes in light, temperature and seasons. Here I have lived subtle, yet ultimately dramatic changes invoked by Nature; summer to winter, freezing to melting, darkness to sunlight, subconscious to conscious.  My understanding has been clarified the further north I have traveled.
