ASKI / PACKAGING DESIGN SERIES FOR FASHION BRAND "ASKI KATASKI"
Statement

This diploma project describes the package design development for “Aski Kataski”, a new and young fashion brand based in Paris, France.
While the brand’s creations are expressing something modern, all the products are hand crafted from antique materials. Understanding the aesthetic sense of the brand was an important part to enhance the perception of the brand through my package design.
The aim of this project was to achieve the following goals: recognizability, informativeness, textual quality, functionality and sustainability
Two packages were presented as a result of the design process: an accessory box for their jewelry, and a shoes sack for their up-coming shoes collections. The packages were all hand made in order to keep the feeling of uniqueness, and to emphasis the concept of the brand.
The designed packages were presented in Aski Kataski’s exhibition for the autumn and winter collection of 2007-2008 in Paris, March 2007.
