VAISALA UNIFIED USER INTERFACES
Statement
Vaisala Unified User Interfaces project creates visual guidelines for the software products of Vaisala Group, a Finnish company that develops products and services for environmental and industrial measurement. Vaisala's variety of software products are developed in several countries and they are sold globally. So far the visual design of the products had been low priority. Appearance and functionality varied from product to product. The project creates visual elements to increase product consistency and support the brand identity. The solutions had to be presented so that the results will be usable to both programmers and the end users. The project also aims to unify design processes and enable communication and information sharing between the development teams.
