SURFACES
Statement
Surfaces is a study combining visual and tactual properties of surface materials and their combinations with contemporary trends. Findings are tested with a ten-people focus group consisting of creative, successful young adults representing premium product category consumers. The study is done using Nokia Mobile Phones and focuses on mobile electronics.
Surfaces presents a compact and easily-reconstructed method of testing various surface materials directly with a focus group and emphasises action and reaction as opposed interviews. The physical result of the study is a designed test environment with real material samples.
