Today’s people sit a lot, at school, at work, when travelling, and at home in front of the TV. In our lives, we sit more than we stand. Sitting for long periods of time causes back problems, which have become increasingly common recently. Actively changing the sitting position helps alleviate back problems. One solution for this is using a standing support. It is not a new invention, but the general public is not aware of it, and it is not widely used. I designed the Swing standing support so that people would discover other alternatives besides the chair. In addition to standing and sitting, Swing allows the user to lean on it. Its shape is ergonomic and upholstered, which makes it comfortable to use for longer periods at a time. Thanks to the curved runners, the angle can be adjusted to suit the needs of each user, and it is possible to swing slightly while leaning on the support.
