BATHING / FINNISH SAUNA
Statement
Communication through senses has been the basic idea of design concepts in my works at UIAH and I have continued this concept in my final work.
This project started from the research of international bathing history with personal bathing experiences. As a result of the research, I categorized the most important mental significances in bathing to “Purification” and “Relaxation”. Based on these points of view, I started to research Finnish sauna culture and proposed two products to present my design concept, “communication through the senses”.
