SUPERYELLOW DESIGN OY
Statement

The joint final thesis project of Anna Ahlholm and Henna Puhakka deals with a company in the making, SUPERYELLOW Design Oy, and its brand concept, visual image and prototypes for its first product to be launched, a beanie collection for autumn/winter 2008. The collection implements user-oriented design for three different target groups: SUPERurban, SUPERcreaty and SUPERaktiv. The collection is complemented by a comprehensive whole consisting of the packaging, display stand and brochures. The final thesis also analyses the company’s visual solutions, logo and website according to its brand guidelines. SUPERYELLOW Design Oy was established by Anna Ahlholm, Henna Puhakka and Erja Manninen-Björkman and it is based in Helsinki.

Biography
Anna Ahlholm studied textile design in the School of Design at the University of Art and Design Helsinki and graduated with an M.A. in 2006. She has conducted several design projects for companies, such as Silja Line Oy and KoneHELSINKI and worked as a visual designer for Marimekko Oyj. She is currently one of the three shareholders in SUPERYELLOW Design Oy, where she works on design and marketing.
