STRATEGIC USE OF DESIGN TO ENHANCE BRAND EXPERIENCE: CASE STUDY OF SONERA FINLAND
Statement
What is your expectation before going to Hesburger? Why do designers use apple computers? Why does Google make April fools jokes? Do you remember how Stockmann smells? What comes to your mind first, when thinking about Sonera?
    Answers to all these questions come from previous experiences. It could be related to product, brand, advertisement or customer service. Therefore all of these experiences are designable. Customer experience is the new area where a customer has been put in the center of activities. It is a view of how customer is connected to company through different touch points. Moreover, it is about how to keep the experience consistent. Through my thesis, I have tried to analyze and give directions to enhance existing Sonera Customer Experience.

Biography
Korhan Buyukdemirci is from Ankara, Turkey. He got his Ba degree in industrial design at METU, Ankara 2003. One year later after graduation, Büyükdemirci moved to Finland to extend his design knowledge and experience. His reason for selecting Finland is to explore finnish design culture and hot finnish sauna’s. Due to his interest in business side of design, he has joined minor study programme called International design business management.
